This year sees the tenth Annual Ridewell event presented by Cleveland Police and Stockton on Tees Borough Council to be held on Sunday July 11th.

This will be the 10th event since it all started in 2000, it would have been the eleventh but sadly the 2007 event had to be cancelled due to the deluge that engulfed the country rendering the Park unsafe for use. For those not familiar with the day, this primarily is a Two Wheeled Road Safety/Fun Day with the emphasis on enjoyment and to that end apart from the usual things you would expect to see at a Road Safety Show there will be Traders, Dealers and club exhibitors from both the Motorcycle and Pedal Cycle World in attendance, including live Music.

This year will see a stunning motorcycle display from the IMPS. For those not familiar with the team they consist of riders in ages from as low as 5years old! performing amazing stunts. The Imps have performed all over the UK and this summer will be performing at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, the Highland Tattoo at Inverness and at St Truiden Belgium together with a number of other events.

Also this year we are pleased to announce that not one but two of the Countrys most popular and successful Race Teams will be returning to Ridewell for the second year, albeit one in different livery. Rob McElnea is bringing his new look Rob Mac Racing team here for the day so come along and meet the team and take a close look at some of the Race Bikes which will be competing in this years British Superbike Championship in the hands of Dan Linfoot and Ian Lowry.

Also here on the day will be the new look Swan Racing Hondas, previously Hydrex Honda. The bikes you will see will be campaigned this year in the British Superbike Championship by Stuart Easton and James Ellison. Come along and have a look at the bikes and speak to some of the riders.

We will also be running our annual Observed Rides element to the show where riders can go out with a Police Rider and hopefully pick up some pointers, or maybe we can pick up from you! and there will be prizes awarded so have a go you never know what you may win and it is all free. (Booking form on the Form Downloads page).

Since 2000, Guisborough Motor Club have been hosting the Ridewell Trials Competition with riders from all over the North East and beyond competing for the trophy, it goes without saying that this will again be centre stage on the show field.

We will be having motorcycle competitions with lots of prizes donated by local dealers up for grabs and a cycle competition for the younger members of the community with prizes of Mountain Bikes and associated items to be won.

If you pop across to the Winns exhibition you may just win some VIP passes to the BSB races at Silverstone in September.

There will be all the usual fairground rides, simulators, food courts and lots more.
