This year the ninth Annual Ridewell event presented by Cleveland Police and Stockton on Tees Borough Council is to be held on Sunday August 2nd 2009 at Preston Hall and Museum, Yarm Road
,
This year will see Graham Aitken return for the second year, Graham is from the Internationally renowned Vertical Brits/Starboyz Extreme Freestyle Stunt Team and trust me when I say this guy is worth seeing. Also this year we are pleased to announce that one of the Countrys most popular and successful Race Teams will be returning to Ridewell for the second year, albeit in a different guise, Rob McElnea is bringing his new look Rob Mac Racing team here for the day so come along and meet the team and take a close look at some of the Race Bikes which will be competing in this years British Superbike Championship in the hands of Chris Walker, Graham Gowland and Michael Rutter and it is hoped one of the riders will be able to attend. There will also be a competition to win a great prize connected to the team, our thanks go to Rob McElnea Racing. We will also be running our annual Observed Rides element to the show where riders can go out with a Police Rider and hopefully pick up some pointers, or maybe we can pick up from you! and there will be prizes awarded so have a go you never know what you may win and it is all free. (Booking form on this site) ![]() We will be having motorcycle competitions with lots of prizes donated by local dealers up for grabs and a cycle competition for the younger members of the community with prizes of Mountain Bikes and associated items to be won. There will be fairground rides, simulators, food courts and lots more. Previous years have seen attendances in excess of 15,000 and we hope to top it this year we have booked the hot weather in advance, there is no entry or car parking charges so why not come along and enjoy the day.
